Fans in the US are still hoping that the carmaker will change its mind about the release in North America.
During 2013, the first hybrid edition had problems with fuel economy data. Buyers claimed that the vehicle can’t deliver 47 mpg as advertised. The C-Max was good for 37 mpg. 2019 Ford C-Max Hybrid vs Energi
The Solar Energi Concept is the latest innovation we could see from Ford. Now it seems like this idea will be realized on C-Max. Greener technology is definitely in advantage over conventional drivetrains. Better fuel economy and clean energy regeneration are others pros.
On the other hand, the 2019 Ford C-Max Hybrid would be much cheaper variants in many ways. First of all, development of Energi and Solar Energi concepts is expensive. Furthermore, it will boost the price for buyers. Also, we don’t know how it will be accepted. Many questions, but Ford is ready to risk with it. Too bad for 2019 Ford C-Max Hybrid.
