In short – YES! There are many pros and cons, but objective opinion is that 2019 Ford F-150 Hybrid is possible. First of all, the company plans to electrify all their vehicles in next decade. In next five years, 25 or 30 models will get hybrid or electric drivetrain, 13 already by 2020. Some of these are going to be very functional and able to battle Toyota and Chevy hybrids. Few of them will use their names to draw attention to this process. At the first place, these are F-150 and Mustang.
But, it is not so realistic to expect the production model so soon. The 2019 Ford F-150 Hybrid could be the concept. Version for market sales will probably be ready later. But, 2019 season would remain official debut.

It seems like Ram 1500 is following steps of its major rival. Recently we could hear that Ram is planning to produce their hybrid as well. However, this is still a far-fetched story, but rumors are mentioning next year as a debut. If either 2019 Ford F-150 Hybrid or 2019 Ram 1500 Hybrid happen, it would cause a major impact on the market. But, if both arrive so soon, this could start a revolutionary turns in the truck segment.
