Just like any other established pickup truck, F-150 will also offer numerous configurations and body styles. This light-duty pickup is also available in a couple of trim levels. The 2020 Ford F-150 Limited will be the range-topping trim level. Slotted above Platinum trim, Limited offers nothing but a luxury.
It comes with five seats and it offers standard leather upholstery. Exterior design is superb. It looks attractive and premium. You can find more chrome accents than on the base model. Styling is very unique and upscale. Under the hood, F-150 Limited offers a 3.5-liter V6 Ecoboost engine.
Exterior Design and Features
We must admit that even the base F-150 model looks stunning. However, if you want a real premium look, the 2020 Ford F-150 Limited is the answer. The range-topping trim level comes with so many standard features. We won’t name all of them, it would be easier to name only the optional features. The only optional exterior equipment is the box side steps, foldable bed extender, and the tailgate step.
The F-150 Limited offers standard 22-inch wheels and very unique styling. Up front, LED headlights are standard. The front grille with satin finishes looks gorgeous. Also, the grille wears additional chrome and silver inserts. Heated mirrors, LED taillights, body-colored parts, and remote tailgate are all standard.
Interior Equipment
When we talk about luxury in the pickup truck segment, the 2020 Ford F-150 Limited is the real and only winner. Ford provides so many premium features and amenities. Comfort is great and the cabin is very spacious and practical. There will be room for five passengers in Super Cab and Super Crew Cab variants. Regular Cab has room for only three persons. Even the rear seats are available with heating and cooling options. Super Crew models are offering a twin panel moonroof.
SYNC3 infotainment system is still present. The cabin adds additional chrome and real wood accents. Leather upholstery is standard and that includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Dual-zone Climate Control is available, along with the 360-degree camera. On top of that, ambient lighting and rain-sensing wipers are all standard. The all-weather floor mats and Pro Trailer Backup Assist are optional.
Six Engine Choices
The forthcoming 2020 Ford F-150 Limited will offer numerous drivetrain options. Five of them, to be precise. However, the 3.5-liter V6 will offer an optional high-output version. That makes six different choices. For the start, a 3.3-liter V6 produces 290 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque. A 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 provides 325 hp and 400 lb-ft of twist.
Next option is a 5.0-liter V8 that cranks out 395 horses and 400 lb-ft of torque. The 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost is perhaps the most popular choice. This engine is available in two different outputs. The standard output generates 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Higher output manages to produce 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of twist. Last option is a 3.0-liter Power Stroke V6. This diesel variant can burst up to 250 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque.
2020 Ford F-150 Limited Price and Release Date
Everything that the 2020 Ford F-150 Limited has to offer won’t come cheap. For the start, the base trim level starts at $30,000. The range-topping Limited model is priced at $67,500.
Have in mind that there is still some optional equipment to load. That means the price could easily go over $70,000. Ford’s best-selling pickup truck will hit the dealerships in the second half of 2019.
