The forthcoming 2020 Ford F-Series Super Duty Tremor is almost ready to become available. It is Blue Oval’s newest package, not a model. This package is available on F-250 and F-350 heavy-duty models. It adds plenty of off-road equipment, lifted the suspension and meaner look.
Tremor package is available only on crew-cab body style. On the other hand, you can equip Super Duty Tremor with both gasoline and diesel engines. As for the gasoline unit, Ford promises class-leading performances.
2020 F-Series Super Duty Tremor – Aggressive Exterior Design
The all-new 2020 Ford F-Series Super Duty Tremor will look truly aggressive. For the start, new spy shots of the upcoming F-250 model are available. New features and latest changes will be on the Tremor package. However, that is not the most important thing, but it is worth mentioning. Tremor is an off-road package that delivers more ground clearance and more ground clearance. Besides the lifted suspension, Tremor comes with plenty of off-road gear.
That includes larger shocks, new Goodyear tires, and numerous driving modes. F-Series Super Duty Tremor comes with new rock-crawling mode and trail cruise control. The exterior looks beefier and more aggressive. The Tremor comes with 10.8 inches of ground clearance and front end is lifted by an additional two inches. Approach angle is around 31.6 degrees and departure angle is rated at 24.6 degrees. This off-road package also offers 18-inch wheels and mentioned new 35-inch tires. Of course, new skid plates and new off-road running boards are available as well.
Ford F-150 Raptor-Like Interior
The upcoming model won’t focus on the interior at all. That means we can expect the same cabin as in the regular F-250 model. The 2020 Ford F-Series Super Duty Tremor could borrow some parts from the F-150 Raptor. That will surely make the cabin looks sportier and more upscale. However, we are not sure if that will actually happen.
Whatsoever, you can expect a simple interior with more quality materials and plenty of room. As we mentioned, the Super Duty Tremor is available only on crew-cab variants. On top of that, you can load this package on XLT, Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum trim levels. Thanks to that, you can make your new F-250 or F-350 Tremor a luxurious place. We can also bet on the long list of available features.
Engine Specs, Towing Capacity
So far, we don’t expect any major upgrades in terms of performances. Ford did mention the performances, however. According to Blue Oval, new 2020 Ford F-Series Super Duty Tremor will offer a class-leading tow rating. Of course, that means the relatively new 7.3-liter V8 will offer the best torque rating in the segment. So far, we still don’t know the specs of the powerful V8.
If you opt for the Tremor package, you can also equip a new model with a diesel powertrain. A 6.7-liter PowerStroke delivers 450 hp and 935 lb-ft of torque. We can expect for new F-Series Tremor to tow over 30,000 pounds. As for the gasoline unit, Ram Power Wagon is the current best with 11,000 pounds.
2020 Ford F-Series Super Duty Tremor Price and Release Date
The exact pricing details are not available yet. However, we know the price of the upcoming F-250 model. On top of that, the new Tremor package will cost an additional $2,000 or slightly more. Thanks to that, the 2020 Ford F-Series Super Duty Tremor will surely cost around $48,000.
Remember, Tremor package could be loaded only on crew cab models. Furthermore, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum trims are offering this off-road package.
