The upcoming 2020 Ford F650 is about to arrive, this time, with more significant upgrades. As you know, the current model suffered small modifications. However, the 2020 F650 will get a new engine, better towing capacity, and more gear. It is a medium-duty pickup truck that looks surprisingly modern. Driving manners are good and interior provides great level of comfort.

Ford F650 Exterior Facelift
Don’t expect significant exterior upgrades. The all-new 2020 Ford F650 is mostly a carryover. However, the side profile will get a more subtle approach. Visually, this medium-duty truck looks very stylish and modern. The front grille is unchanged, along with the headlights and the hood. Speaking of hood, its sloped design looks very impressive.
Whatsoever, F150 wear a similar bonnet. Roof, door sills, wheels and windshield will remain. Styling-wise, F650 is similar to the F250 heavy-duty pickup. The same cab variants are available once again. On the other hand, the Blue Oval could introduce one or two brand-new exterior paints.
Interior Features
This time, Ford’s medium-duty pickup truck will get more tech updates. Furthermore, the list of standard features is longer now. The forthcoming 2020 Ford F650 will also get more safety aids and driver-assistance systems. Cabin design will stay intact. That means the interior is very similar to the F150 light-duty model. Overall, the cabin is very modern and comfort is great. Optionally, Ford offers leather upholstery, satellite navigation, a Wi-Fi hotspot and much more.
All of these features are standard on the range-topping trim level. Interior is practical like before and room from the inside is generous. For 2020, F650 will also get an updated infotainment system while the infotainment display remains. When it comes to cab styles, there will be two of them. Super Cab and Crew Cab configurations are in the offer once again.
New Gasoline Engine
Since the beginning of the last generation, F650 pickup truck comes with a 6.7-liter Powerstroke V8. Diesel engine cranks out 450 horsepower and over 900 lb-ft of torque. However, the 2020 Ford F650 will continue to deliver various figures. For instance, the base model delivers 275 hp and 725 lb-ft of twist. Mid-range trim levels are good for 330 hp and 725 lb-ft of torque. Now, the time has come for the new gasoline unit. Ford will from now on offer a 7.3-liter V8.
We are still waiting for the official engine specs to go public. New gasoline V8 will arrive with the TorqShift 10-speed automatic transmission. The new gearbox will provide better ride quality, no doubt about it. Ford also promised a better tow rating for the diesel powertrain. On top of that, new F650 will lose some weight so the fuel economy could also be improved, but not significantly.
