The forthcoming 2020 Ford Mustang Bullitt is the special edition that is present for 50 years now. Blue Oval carmaker made it for a movie purpose in the first place before this car got a legendary status. Just as in the years before, new Bullitt will be oriented toward performances more than anything else. Whatsoever, the exterior is really striking and the interior is classy and sporty.
However, the 2020 Bullitt won’t suffer any changes at all. On top of that, the 2020 model will probably be the last model. The reason is Ford’s decision to give Mustang some serious changes in 2021. This information is yet to be confirmed, but here it is, for the last time maybe, Mustang Bullitt.
Iconic Exterior
The upcoming 2020 Ford Mustang Bullitt won’t get any seriouschanges. As a matter of fact, the car will remain the same as its predecessor. Logically,this model is based on the current Mustang GT and it adds some more additionalgear under the skin. That includes different suspension, springs, and shocks. We like the Brembo brakes paintedin red, it looks astonishing.
Moreover, the exhaust system is fascinating. You can even select modes such as “Quiet Start” or “Track”and “Sport”. Besides those special and nice-looking features, Bullitt comes with the faux gas cap and the Bullitt logo on it. Additional chrome accents and the honeycomb grille are visible at first glance.
2020 Ford Mustang Bullitt Interior Design
Most of the things that are optional in the Mustang GT arestandard on the 2020 Ford Mustang Bullitt. That includes the 12-inch LCD display,B&O Premium Audio System with 12 speakers and RECARO leather seats. Theseats are very sporty and with the available Dark Highland Green contraststitching. The interior is incredibly sporty and stylish.
Plenty of leather upholstery and wood trims are providing real elegance from the inside. However, the interior will also get zero changes. The customers can still opt for the Security Package and the Electronics Package. Both packages are optional and will certainly boost the interior in one way or another.
The Same 5.0-liter Engine
Under the hood, the 2020 Ford Mustang Bullitt will use the same 5.0-liter engine. The unit can generate up to 475 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. That is more powerful than the Mustang GT gets. Bullitt can reach 163 mph while the GT 155 mph. The difference isn’t significant at all. Some rumors were suggesting an all-new 10-speed transmission but that will not happen. That means the 2020 Bullitt will continue with the use of a 6-speed manual gearbox.
2020 Ford Mustang Bullitt Price and Release Date
The price won’t get any increase at all. The approaching 2020 Ford Mustang Bullitt will cost around $48,000. Interestingly, a fully option-loaded Bullitt costs $53,000. As we mentioned already, this could be the last Bullitt of the generation as Blue Oval is having new plans for all of the Mustang models. This special version will hit the roads in May 2020.
