The all-new 2021 Ford F-350 continues with improvements. This heavy-duty truck is known for its tradition, reliability, and performance. It gets the job done, and it offers excellent towing capacity. Design-wise, F-350 looks very attractive, so it is also suitable for commercial use. The interior is very modern, and it looks SUV-like rather than the regular truck’s cabin.
For 2021, we can expect mid-cycle refreshments. On top of that, this model offers both gasoline and diesel engine options. On the other hand, the design is the same for years now, and the price is far from affordable.
Exterior Facelift
The upcoming 2021 F-350 is looking very attractive. However, some customers will say its annoying as the same look is present for years now. Of course, the upper trim levels are looking especially amazing and stylish. Still, the base model isn’t as impressive as it was a couple of years ago. The boxy shape is unchanged, and front fascia will once again arrive with the chrome grille.
Some changes will happen for sure, but don’t expect anything dramatic. Premium and Limited trim levels are looking perfect in every possible way. Blue Oval manufacturer will offer both single and double cab configurations. Moreover, the King Ranch trim level is available, which is good news.
Interior Changes
When it comes to luxury inside the cabin, you can hardly find a better model than the 2021 Ford F-350. Other manufacturers are way below this level of luxury. The cabin is premium, even the base model. After all, we are talking about the heavy-duty truck segment.
Only Ram and Chevrolet can come close to F-350 models, to be honest. New 2021 model will get new modern touches, possibly a display and additional driver-assistance features. That includes adaptive cruise control, parking sensors, and collision warnings.
Engine Options, Towing Capacity, Transmission
The best thing about the new 2021 Ford F-350 is its engine lineup. The base engine is a 6.2-liter V8 gasoline engine that comes as standard. It can produce up to 385 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. The second option is a 7.3-liter V8 that generates 435 horses and 475 lb-ft of twisting power. Lastly, there is a 6.7-liter Power Stroke.
It is a turbodiesel engine that cranks out 475 horsepower and 1050 lb-ft of torque. As for the transmission, you can choose between a TorqShift 6-speed automatic and TorqShift 10-speed automatic gearboxes. Towing capacity is rated from 24,200 pounds to 32,500 pounds with a 5th wheel. The maximum towing capacity with Gooseneck is estimated at 37,000 pounds.
