2021 Lincoln MKC – What to Expect?

We’ve already heard the news about the MKC model and its new name “Corsair”. The 2021 Lincoln MKC or Corsair will get further improvements. Yes, the 2020 model will gain some serious improvements. However, Lincoln is not sitting around and it will provide more updates for the 2021 model.

The redesigned model was suggested for 2021, but it will happen next year for sure. We expect further design polishing and numerous interior updates. On the other hand, the performance should remain for the next couple of years.

MKC Goes Corsair

The 2021 Lincoln MKC will surely arrive under the name “Lincoln Corsair”. Most of the current company’s models posses three-letter monikers. That includes models such as MKC and MKZ. However, Lincoln is working on new names such as Navigator or Continental.

Corsair is just a start. MKZ model will arrive under the name “Zephyr” in the near future. The more logical name will attract younger buyers and women. According to the latest researches, women represent more than half of the buyers of this luxury SUV.

Plenty of dealerships and markets are totally interested in Lincoln’s models. The 2021 Lincoln MKC is just one of the popular models in the company’s lineup of sedans and SUVs. Interestingly, MKC is currently the best-selling Lincoln’s model in China. On the other hand, in the United States, this model is not that much popular.

Moreover, the MKC model still gains more sales than its rivals from Lexus and Cadillac. No doubt the sales will go up in the coming years. New 2021 MKC will rival Audi Q3, Cadillac XT4, and Lexus NX models. Most of the markets already gave a thumbs up for the new MKC/Corsair model. That includes Mexico, Canada, the United States, and China.

2021 MKC Updates and Changes

A redesigned 2020 model will use the same structure as the new Ford Escape. However, not a single piece of metal or interior trims are borrowed. For that reason, we can call this model very unique. The 2021 Lincoln MKC will be built on that. We can expect plenty of new features and small design updates. New Corsair/MKC model will feature a long roof design and sharp tailgate.

The front fascia will look modern and we can expect small updates up front. That includes slightly larger bumper or headlights. Rear suspension will be updated as well. Lincoln wants to deliver an even quieter and smoother ride than before. The interior will only get small technology updates. Moreover, performance should remain the same.

Company’s famous Black Label trim attract the most interest from the buyers. It is the range-topping trim level that offers nothing but the luxury. The 2021 Lincoln MKC Black Labe will be in the offer, no doubt about it.

This luxury variant will represent one of the most premium models in the segment. For now, this model is very certain. However, we are still waiting for the exact details. For now, we know that the MKC model will arrive under the name “Corsair” at some point in 2020.
