The upcoming 2021 Lincoln Navigator is set for another mid-cycle improvement. Since the new-gen Navigator arrived in 2017, this model didn’t suffer significant changes. However, there is no need to. Navigator is one of the most luxurious models on the market and it provides great performances. Of course, its range-topping Black Label is a synonym for luxury but even the base model is very premium.
The 2021 Navigator will arrive with minor exterior and interior changes. Besides small cosmetic upgrades, the interior will gain more tech. Under the hood, a powerful V6 will remain as the only engine option. Some rumors are even suggesting new exterior paints and interior color schemes.
2021 Navigator Exterior Facelift
Lincoln recently introduced its new design language. However, the 2021 Lincoln Navigator will stick to its current design. A complete exterior redesign should happen once the next-gen Navigator arrives. Until that happens, we’ll see another mid-cycle update. Navigator is known for its impressive styling, imposing stance and luxurious design. The vehicle wears a lot of Satin Chrome materials and its mesh grille is easy to recognize.
The same grille features a lot of chrome accents and LED headlights are more stylish than before. You can count on plenty of standard features, including the power running boards and roof rails. The Embrace System automatically detects your key fob once you enter the vehicle. However, this is just a beginning. The range-topping Navigator Black Label model offers even more luxury. That includes premium 22-inch wheels, illuminated running boards, and more exterior paints.
Luxury Interior
The interior of the all-new 2021 Lincoln Navigator is one of the most premium interiors you will see. It is a well-known cabin design that comes with plenty of luxury. Moreover, you won’t find a more stylish interior in the segment. Even the interior room is impressive. Whatsoever, second and third-row seats are providing the best legroom in class. Comfort is not a thing you should worry about.
Leather upholstery has been offered as standard and Lincoln offers Ebony and Cappuccino upholsteries on the base model. The Reserve trim level comes with Ebony/Russet or Dark Slate schemes. Black Label offers Chalet, Yacht and Destination interior schemes. The New 2021 model will arrive with additional safety equipment.
Engine Specs, Transmission, MPG
Nothing will change under the hood. The forthcoming 2021 Lincoln Navigator will arrive with the same 3.5-liter V6 engine. This twin-turbo powertrain is producing 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. It comes with a standard 10-speed automatic transmission and Navigator offers up to six driving modes. That includes the newest Slow Climb mode as well.
Besides that, Normal, Slippery, Excite, Conservative and Deep Conditions modes are available as well. The potent V6 engine has been rated at 21 mpg on the highway which is solid for such a strong powertrain. A hybrid model is still just a rumor.
2021 Lincoln Navigator Price and Release Date
In terms of price, a new 2021 Lincoln Navigator should remain. That means you can get this full-size SUV for $75,000. On the other hand, the Black Label model won’t cost below $100,000. The plan is to release a new Navigator later this year. However, the Coronavirus outbreak could move its debut for 2021.
