Ford will introduce a lot of things. For a start, we expect the Warthog/Raptor model to arrive and even the Heritage Edition is reportedly in the works. The most reliable reports are also saying that the Bronco SUV will lose some exterior colors and add some other paints.
We don’t know what will happen with the rest of the vehicle. However, we expect things to remain intact. This includes both exterior and interior design, and even the engine lineup. Exciting times are ahead as the Bronco SUV will be one of the most impressive models in the brand’s lineup of SUVs.
2022 Bronco Colors
The return of the Bronco SUV is perhaps the biggest automotive event in the United States. However, the pandemic forced the manufacturer to reschedule its plans. Now, the 2022 Ford Bronco is almost here and we can read plenty of rumors about this SUV. The most reliable sources reported that Ford plans to shuffle the offer of the exterior colors. Originally, eleven colors were revealed. This includes colors such as Cyber Orange Metallic Tri-Coat.
Moreover, Ford offers three different shades of gray, two choices of blue color, and two red hues. We mentioned the Cyber Orange exterior paint because it seems like Ford won’t offer this color that got many fans excited. We are waiting for the official details, but Blue Oval definitely plans to offer a different color palette.
Heritage Edition, Warthog
The 2022 Ford Bronco will become available in a lot of trim levels and special editions. Moreover, Ford will offer both two-door and four-door variants. Recently, we read the news about a rumored Bronco Heritage Edition. The leaked document confirms the 2022 model and the trim level named the “Heritage Edition.”
Another leaked document shows the Warthog name. This means Ford won’t use the Raptor name for the high-performance Bronco variant. Warthog it is. Some details about this model are already available and Blue Oval will also offer the Sasquatch package. This optional package adds a manual gearbox, 35-inch tires, and various off-road goodies.
Performances
The forthcoming 2022 Ford Bronco will offer 2.3-liter and 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine options. The base 2.3-liter EcoBoost will produce 270 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. Besides the mentioned seven-speed manual gearbox, Ford will offer a ten-speed automatic transmission. The optional engine is a 2.7-liter EcoBoost with 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque.
We will see if the hybrid option will become available right away. Lastly, Bronco Warthog will use a 3.0-liter V6 engine from the Explorer ST. Bronco’s high-performance variant will deliver up to 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of twisting power.
2022 Ford Bronco Price, Launch Date
Blue Oval automaker will release the 2021 Bronco, but many customers will end up with the 2022MY. The 2022 Ford Bronco will arrive at some point next year, probably in the first quarter. The price should remain, which means you can get the 2022 Bronco for $28,500.
