The forthcoming 2022 Ford F-250 Tremor is one of the latest brand packages. It is not, as many of you believe, a trim level. Tremor is an optional package that adds different off-road capabilities to Ford’s pickup trucks. The F-250 Tremor will be powered by a powerful V8 engine and will undergo several changes. Tremor comes standard with a lift kit and is only available in a crew cab configuration.
Lifted suspension, distinctive tires, and a more aggressive appearance are only the beginning. Furthermore, the Tremor package will not cost you a lot of money, making it an affordable alternative. F-250 Tremor Design
In terms of price and functionality, the Tremor package is more expensive than the FX4 package. The 2022 Ford F-250 Tremor looks sporty and aggressive. Raptor is a completely different story and the FX4 package is more aesthetical. On the other hand, Tremor is a functional package for the F-Series, and it takes the notion a bit farther. Ford anticipates that half of the future Super Duty purchasers will select either the FX4 or Tremor off-road package.
The F-250 Tremor comes with a tuned suspension, larger shocks, wheels, and tires. Furthermore, this package adds more off-road tech directly from the manufacturer. The package comes with 35-inch Goodyear tires, higher ground clearance, and improved approach/departure angles.
Interior Upgrades
The cabin of the 2022 Ford F-250 Tremor will not undergo such drastic changes. Ford chose a cabin that sits between the Ford F-150 and the Ford Raptor vehicles. The idea is to create an environment that is both elegant and sporty. The interior is functional, and the control arrangement is straightforward. Ford will add more high-quality materials, raising the level of comfort.
The dashboard and center console have been slightly modified as well. If you desire more luxury inside the Tremor package, just add extra optional options. Tremor is available in XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum trim levels. As previously stated, this optional package is only available in the crew cab form.
Tremor Won’t Add More Power
The forthcoming 2022 Ford F-250 Tremor will use a reliable 7.3-liter V8 gasoline engine. Ford says it is the class-leading gasoline engine and it is a relatively new engine in the lineup. In addition, a 6.7-liter PowerStroke diesel engine will be available as an option. Basically, Tremor won’t deliver more power as this is not a high-performance variant, such as Ford Raptor.
Base gasoline engine develops 430 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque. Moreover, optional diesel will produce around 1,050 lb-ft of torque. Towing capacity is amazing, and the Tremor variant definitely looks and acts off-road-ready.
2022 Ford F-250 Tremor Release Date, Price
The 2022 Ford F-250 Tremor package will be available on trim levels ranging from XLT to Limited, accounting for around 70% of the lineup. It is exclusively available for retail use and is not available on the basic XL, which is primarily a work truck.
Tremor can be had with a super crew cab and 4×4 single-rear-wheel setup. The price is affordable, as Tremor costs only $2,000 over the base price of chosen trim level. The sales will begin this fall.
