The F-550 truck’s best feature is its powerful 6.7-liter PowerStroke engine. The optional turbodiesel V8 produces 330 horsepower and up to 825 pound-feet of torque. However, Ford claimed that the diesel engine would achieve even more torque in 2022. Ford has an excellent TorqShift 10-speed automatic transmission. The F-550 Diesel has a towing capacity of 40,000 pounds.
2022 Ford F-550 Release Date, Price
The price of a new 2022 Ford F-550 would start at about $45,000. The luxury Limited trim level, on the other hand, costs $60,000. The Blue Oval automaker expects to launch its entire Super Duty range before the end of the current year. The COVID-19 outbreak, on the other hand, could cause Ford to reschedule its plans for the future.
