The upcoming 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E is a brand’s new all-electric crossover. Inspired by the famous Mustang pony car, the Mach-E crossover comes with a familiar exterior design, taken from its sibling. However, some other parts are not so closely related. The crossover offers two battery sizes, standard RWD and optional AWD setups.
According to Ford, Mustang Mach-E will provide around 305 miles of driving range, a room for five passengers, and a lot of high-tech amenities. Blue Oval said the customers should expect unique storage and cargo areas, great performances, and much more. 2022 Mustang Mach-E Looks Extremely Modern
The 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E will wear some cues from the original Mustang. However, we think this is a unique crossover and Blue Oval did a great job in terms of design. While everyone expected to see the larger model, Mach-E isn’t that larger. On top of that, it wears just enough curves and muscles to look like Mustang.
This model comes with an athletic stance, stubby rear section, and very modern exterior features. Interestingly, the Blue Oval manufacturer won’t offer door handles. Instead, the Mach-E model comes with the newest push-button E-Latch system. Thanks to that, the exterior looks very minimalistic. The crossover will arrive with body-colored features, gloss black cues, and great aerodynamics.
Interior Comes With a Large Infotainment Display
On the inside, the new 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E will look very innovative and modern. For a start, this crossover offers a large 15.5-inch infotainment touchscreen. Moreover, Ford offers various phone integrations, including the FordPass application. Thanks to that, you can use your phone as the key and much more.
A 10-inch display is also available and it shows vital information about speed, navigation, and driving range. Everything on the inside is very upright and modern. There will be room for five passengers and the interior room is generous. If you want more luxury, Mach-E offers a panoramic glass roof, leather upholstery, rotary transmission, and much more.
Power, Driving Range
The base model will offer a 198-kW electric motor and a 66 kWh lithium-ion battery. Thanks to that, the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E produces 266 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque. If you want more power, adding another motor will provide 428 lb-ft of twists and a standard all-wheel-drive system. The base Mach-E variant provides around 230 miles (RWD) and 219 miles (AWD) of the driving range.
You can also improve the electric range with an 88 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which will provide up to 300 miles on a single charge. Ford offers three more variants, but the most powerful is the Mach-E GT. This model generates 480 hp, 634 lb-ft of torque, and 250 miles of driving range.
2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E Release Date, Price
The price of the all-new 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E will start at $43,000. The electric crossover offers a couple of trim levels. For an instance, Premium trim costs $47,000 and California Route 1 $50,000.
The range-topping GT variant will cost you 60,000. The sales will begin this summer and we can’t wait to see the new Mustang Much-E on the roads.
