2022 Lincoln Nautilus Redesign

The forthcoming 2022 Lincoln Nautilus is getting significant updates. As a matter of fact, this luxury SUV will introduce complete exterior and interior redesign. We are more interested in an exterior redesign, but the interior will gain more drastic changes. Still, Lincoln is known for building impressive interiors, so we can’t wait to see new styling and much more.

Thanks to that, Nautilus will be a more modern SUV with even more luxury. That includes new design language, larger displays on the inside, and new exterior paints. However, performance will remain, so the engine lineup is unchanged. The sales will begin in the first quarter of 2022, or in a one-year time.

2022 Nautilus Redesign

New 2022 Lincoln Nautilus will continue to deliver a premium look and impressive styling. However, we expect to see something new from this luxury SUV. We still don’t know the exact exterior changes, but the redesign will surely happen. Reliable reports are suggesting a new design language that will look even more premium New Nautilus will wear more chrome accents but Lincoln will drop the lower air intakes.

As with any other redesign, Nautilus SUV will offer new wheels, new exterior colors, and much more. However, its dimensions will remain, so Nautilus will continue its journey as a mid-size SUV. New headlights, taillights, and even the grille are reportedly in the work.

Interior Revamp

As we said, the interior of the 2022 Lincoln Nautilus will gain more dramatic changes. The mid-size luxury SUV will arrive with a new cabin design, based on the other brand’s SUVs such as Corsair and Aviator. Lincoln will provide an even higher level of comfort with new upholstery and much more. A 13.2-inch infotainment system is the most notable improvement. However, interior wears more high-quality materials now.

New infotainment touchscreen is the largest unit in Lincoln’s lineup of crossover-SUVs and cars. It will run on Ford’s newest SYNC4 system, which is great to hear. The old dashboard is gone and Nautilus will gain a multi-level dash with more luxury. Some plastic materials are removed and Lincoln also removed most of the buttons. A new gear shifter is available and is moved below the infotainment screen.

Engine Lineup Won’t Change

Unfortunately, the new 2022 Lincoln Nautilus will arrive with the same engine lineup. This means the hybrid variant won’t happen yet. Standard 2.0-liter turbo-four engine with 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque is available once again.

A 2.7-liter V6 is an optional engine that develops 335 hp and 380 lb-ft of twisting power. An eight-speed automatic transmission is available and Nautilus will be able to tow over 3,000 pounds. As for the fuel efficiency, the standard engine delivers 24 mpg combined.

2022 Lincoln Nautilus Price, Release Date

The sales of the new 2022 Lincoln Nautilus will begin in the first quarter of 2022. The price is not available yet, but we expect a starting price of above $40,000. As before, QX60 and Cadillac XT5 are the biggest rivals.
