2022 Lincoln Navigator Hybrid Rumors: What We Know So Far

The upcoming 2022 Lincoln Navigator Hybrid is happening. According to the newest reports, Ford provided details on its future models. To be more precise, Blue Oval manufacturer provided details regarding Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs. This clearly suggests the Navigator Hybrid model is on the way. In the last two years, we read a lot of rumors about the Navigator SUV and its possible electrification.

Now, we can say this variant is official. Besides that, Lincoln will also deliver a couple of significant changes. That includes various interior updates and visual improvements. Navigator will remain a full-size luxury SUV, but this time, a hybrid powertrain will be on offer. The sales will begin by the end of 2021.

Aviator and Corsair Grand Touring Specs

At this moment, Lincoln offers two hybrid models, Aviator Grand Touring and Corsair Grand Touring. Possibly, the 2022 Lincoln Navigator Hybrid could borrow one of these two powertrain options. The Aviator Grand Touring comes with the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine and plug-in hybrid technology. This powertrain generates 494 horsepower and 630 lb-ft of torque. Furthermore, this setup delivers 21 miles of all-electric range.

On the other hand, the Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring is using a smaller 2.5-liter four-cylinder powertrain in a combination with two electric motors and a battery pack. Navigator Hybrid will be a plug-in hybrid SUV with a dual-voltage cord, which means you can charge it at 120V and 240V.

2022 Lincoln Navigator Hybrid Price, Release Date

The forthcoming 2022 Lincoln Navigator Hybrid will arrive in two variants. For example, Aviator SUV offers Grand Touring and Black Label Grand Touring variants. Of course, Navigator will also offer a Black Label trim level with a hybrid powertrain. This version costs around $100,000 so the hybrid variant will cost even more.

As for the regular Navigator Hybrid, its price will start at $90,000 or slightly below that. As we said, the Navigator SUV will introduce significant upgrades. That includes both exterior and interior redesign. Besides Navigator, Ford Expedition SUV will also arrive with the hybrid powertrain option.
