The Sasquatch package is not only a tuner, but it also includes essential features that every Ford Bronco should have. The 2023 Ford Bronco Sasquatch can be had on all trim levels, except the Raptor version. This package provides numerous upgrades, improving the off-road capability of this new SUV. That includes 35-inch tires, numerous mechanical upgrades, improved ground clearance, and much more.
The Sasquatch package also provides more aggressive styling. Furthermore, even the interior will gain a couple of cool upgrades. Ford surprised us with a manual transmission, which is great to hear. The sales will begin in the following months and here’s everything you need to know.
Engine Comes with a Manual Transmission
Under the hood of the 2023 Ford Bronco Sasquatch, Blue Oval will provide a 2.3-liter turbo-four gasoline engine. The same engine will power the Ford Ranger mid-size pickup truck. This unit is capable of producing 275 horsepower. However, Ford will offer a seven-speed manual transmission, which is good to hear. It is a smooth gearbox with six gears plus crawler gear.
The Sasquatch package will not provide more power. However, it comes with a four-wheel-drive system and a two-speed electronic shift-on-the-fly setup. We don’t know if the Bronco Sasquatch package can be had with a potent 2.7-liter V6 engine with 330 horsepower. This unit comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Still, the most potent version will be the Bronco Raptor, and you can’t load the Sasquatch package on it.
Interior Upgrades
The interior of the Ford Bronco SUV is quite simple. However, it is a modern cabin design with lots of high-tech amenities. The 2023 Ford Bronco Sasquatch has almost the same interior as the regular version. This package is focused on delivering a better mechanical setup for improved performance. The interior is not a priority.
Still, Blue Oval will provide a couple of additional features, including rubberized buttons. This model offers a standard 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, while the 12-inch touchscreen will be optional. The Sasquatch model provides wireless smartphone charging and unique color schemes. You can choose between vinyl or leather upholstery.
Bigger Tires and More Ground Clearance
The base Bronco model comes with 16-inch wheels and 30-inch all-season tires. On the other hand, the 2023 Ford Bronco Sasquatch will add 17-inch alloy wheels, 35-inch tires, along with 11.6 inches of ground clearance. This package is available on all trim levels, except the Raptor version.
On top of that, Ford offers the Sasquatch kit as standard on models such as Wildtrak and First Edition. You will get essential off-road gear, including electronic-locking front and rear axles. Furthermore, Blue Oval carmaker provides new dampers, bolder fender flares, and new exterior colors.
2023 Ford Bronco Sasquatch Price, Release Date
The price of the base Bronco model starts at $31,000. Adding the 2023 Ford Bronco Sasquatch package will cost you an additional $7,000, more or less. New Bronco SUV will go on sale later this year.
