According to the most recent reports, the 2023 Ford Edge might be the next-gen model. The second generation arrived in 2015, and the 2023MY should have major enhancements. Interestingly, the 2022 Ford Edge already has various upgrades, including a larger infotainment touchscreen.

2023 Edge Exterior Redesign
The new Ford Edge 2023 is completely redesigned. Just when the next-generation model is set to go into production. Edge will remain a stylish and modern SUV with so much to offer. Edge’s exterior will soon get new improvements. The front fascia has been entirely redesigned with new headlights. The grille is also brand new and stunning. On top of that, a new platform is in the pipeline.
Edge will likely grow in size, but not dramatically. The idea is to make a wider vehicle with greater stability. We expect new wheels and paint jobs as well. 2020MY brought Lithium Gray and Carbonized Gray. The Edge 2023 will now have more color options, and some current paints will remain on offer.
Updated Interior
Inside, the 2023 Ford Edge will get a few major updates. Despite new architecture and increased dimensions, Edge will remain a 5-seat SUV. However, all passengers will benefit from extra shoulder room. Edge will continue to give superior materials and comfort. We don’t know all of the cabin modifications yet.
Ford will likely add a more modern interior design. Additionally, 2022MY will have a 12-inch infotainment screen. We don’t expect greater screens from this item. Anyway, new interior color schemes and equipment are on the way.
Edge and Edge ST Engine Specs
There will be no changes to the powertrain lineup for the 2023 Ford Edge. First, a 250 horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is standard again. This engine is front-wheel-drive, and the results are remarkable. But if you need more power, the Ford Edge ST is the answer.
This variant has a 2.7-liter V6 gasoline engine. It will have 335 horses and standard all-wheel drive. Both engines have an 8-speed automatic transmission, although the ST features paddle shifters. The Edge Hybrid model is still speculation. This vehicle will reportedly have a larger hybrid system than the Escape Hybrid. This means higher power but less fuel efficiency than the Escape model.
2023 Ford Edge Release Date and Price
The upcoming 2023 Ford Edge will start at around $34,000. Ford plans to unveil its new SUV next September. The manufacturer is yet to reveal more details, including the hybrid version of the Edge SUV. Interestingly, you can read a couple of rumors regarding the end of the production for Ford Edge and Lincoln Nautilus models. Of course, this won’t happen.
