Ford F-150 is a truck with so many trim levels and optional packages. Now, the 2023 Ford F-150 Heritage Edition is the latest addition to the lineup. It is an edition that will Ford add to celebrate the 75th birthday of a famous truck. Overall, Ford decided to offer a model with unique interior features and an old-school two-tone exterior color scheme.
Unfortunately, you can get the Heritage Edition on XLT trim level, exclusively. The price is not available yet, but the Blue Oval carmaker will reveal all of the details by the end of the month. Here is everything you need to know about this new special edition.
Exterior Upgrades and Colors
The upcoming 2023 Ford F-150 Heritage Edition is a nice way to mark the truck’s 75th birthday. This model is not a high-performance variant of a more luxury version. The Heritage Edition simply adds an old-school color scheme. Generally, it is a two-tone exterior paint scheme where two colors are separated into two different sections. One color will cover the middle area, while the second color will cover the roof and some other exterior elements. This truck can be had in five different color setups.
Everything starts with the Race Red color in combination with Carbonized Gray paint. The popular Atlas Blue color will sit between the Agate Black. Moreover, there is a beautiful combination of Carbonized Gray and Antimatter Blue colors. The last two schemes are a mix of Avalanche and Agate Black, and a mix of Agate Black and Area 51. Unfortunately, this edition won’t include green or yellow paints, which would definitely bring an additional old-school vibe.
Ford F-150 Heritage Edition Interior
As we said, even the interior will get a couple of nice upgrades. The 2023 Ford F-150 Heritage Edition will gain subtle updates, nothing too flashy. For a start, this edition comes with a gray interior color scheme in combination with black trims. However, the seats will gain unique inserts.
Furthermore, the center console will wear the “Since 1948 F-Series Heritage Edition” text. Blue Oval will put some logos inside the cabin, mostly around the center console and on the top of the windshield. Even the infotainment system’s startup menu will have a cool animation.
2023 Ford F-150 Heritage Price, Release Date
We don’t have the price of the 2023 Ford F-150 Heritage Edition at the moment. According to Blue Oval, we’ll know all of the details by the end of July. We don’t expect some silly price increase, but the price remains a mystery. The production will reportedly begin this fall, and this model will hit the roads in the first quarter of 2023.
This edition is a nice way to get that old-school vibe with gorgeous combinations of colors and some interior updates. The XLT trim level is the only version that will offer the Heritage Edition. If you are considering this truck, keep a close eye on order banks, as Ford usually sells special editions in a blink of an eye.
