The all-new 2023 Ford F-150 Rattler, a low-cost off-road truck, will be released later this year. As a result, the new kit is now available on all trim levels, including the base XL variant. Official information indicates that the Rattler will contain some of the off-road gear seen in the FX4 package.
An electronic locking rear differential and hill descent control are included. Ford has not yet provided pricing information as of yet. However, we believe the Rattler package will be slightly less expensive than the FX4 package. In addition to these two treatments, Ford offers the Tremor package. According to reports, the new Rattler will have more than one cab configuration. Without further ado, here’s everything you need to know.
Ford F-150 Rattler Performance
The performance of the 2023 Ford F-150 Rattler will be provided by various engine options. A basic 2.7-liter twin-turbo engine with 325 horsepower is available. Furthermore, a larger 5.0-liter V8 engine with 400 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque is available as an option. A 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine produces 400 horsepower and up to 500 lb-ft of twisting force.
According to our information, the rear-wheel-drive system will be standard, while the four-wheel-drive system will be optional. As you can see, there is no diesel powerplant available. Of course, anything is possible, but initial rumors indicate that the Rattler model will just be a gasoline-powered pickup truck. We don’t know if the PowerBoost hybrid variant will be available as well.
Interior Details
The cabin of the 2023 Ford F-150 Rattler is distinguished by different details that set it apart from other trim levels. This off-roader offers stunning onyx seats with golden details and nice-looking contrast stitching.
Ford hasn’t provided any details regarding the cabin features, but we can expect it to be more than the standard F-150. The Rattler, like the FX4 package, will include an electronic locking rear differential as well as a hill descent control system. Blue Oval will divulge additional specifics in the following weeks, and hopefully, the company will throw in a few surprises.
Exterior Design
Unlike the standard F-150, the Rattler variant enhances the truck’s cosmetic appeal and off-road capability. The approaching 2023 Ford F-150 Rattler has a twin exhaust tip and aggressive 18-inch aluminum alloys.
This new model has two exhaust tips and is said to produce greater noise. One of the simplest ways to identify this model is to look for the Rattler insignia on the fenders. This truck will also be available in a variety of exterior paint colors. Colors include Carbonized Gray, Agate Black, and Rapid Red, to name a few.
2023 Ford F-150 Rattler Price, Release Date
In terms of price, this new package will be affordable. Reportedly, the new 2023 Ford F-150 Rattler will cost less than the current FX4 kit. We don’t know the exact starting price, but if the base model starts at $28,000, then the Rattler variant will cost around $30,000. The Blue Oval manufacturer will launch this new version this fall.
