The new 2023 Ford F-450 King Ranch truck has been spotted doing some testing. This model represents a perfect combination of power and luxury. The truck delivers a lot of power and King Ranch trim level delivers additional premium features. This model is available in so many trim levels and cab setups.
Moreover, it also offers a dual-rear-wheel setup, known as “Dually”. Generally, serious upgrades are on the way. That includes various visual upgrades, along with additional interior changes and improvements. On the other hand, nothing will change under the hood, per reports.
Spy Shots
The prototype of the 2023 Ford F-450 King Ranch has been spotted recently with light camouflage. More importantly, the front fascia is almost completely visible, providing us with a good look at the truck’s new styling. Interestingly, the new model will borrow a lot of styling cues from the compact Ford Maverick. This is a rare case where this model is not totally influenced by the F-150 model. Whatsoever, we can spot some details that are present on the mid-size Ranger pickup.
For a start, the front fascia hosts a split twin-bar in the center and new headlights. It seems like the F-450 King Ranch sports additional lighting than before. To the sides, we couldn’t spot any drastic upgrade. However, the new wheel design is visible. The rear section will get new taillights with black elements and vertically-oriented reverse lamps. Once the camouflage comes off, we’ll know everything about this truck’s styling.
Ford F-450 King Ranch Interior
As for the interior upgrades, the 2023 Ford F-450 King Ranch will gain a look that is closer to the cabin design of the F-150 truck. Therefore, the new model will gain lots of improvements. Blue Oval will introduce a new steering wheel, a larger infotainment touchscreen, and a new gauge cluster. Right now, a 12-inch touchscreen is doing a great job, but we expect an even better display in the coming months.
Most likely, the SYNC4 infotainment will remain, but the system should be updated. The King Ranch trim level adds more luxury than the lower-grade trim levels, so expect a high level of comfort with lots of premium stuff inside the cabin.
Powerful Diesel Engine Delivers It All
The upcoming 2023 Ford F-450 King Ranch is using a potent 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 engine. However, since the F-450 model is heavier than the F-350 truck, it provides a slightly lower towing capacity. Anyway, this potent engine is capable of producing 475 horsepower and 1050 lb-ft of torque.
Ford provides a 10-speed automatic transmission as standard. As before, the rear-wheel-drive is standard, while the four-wheel-drive system will be available as an option once again. When equipped with a gooseneck hitch, this truck can tow up to 37,000 pounds.
2023 Ford F-450 King Ranch Price, Release Date
The price of the current model starts at around $83,500. The all-new 2023 Ford F-450 King Ranch will cost even more, as it will gain lots of upgrades. The sales will begin earlier this fall, which means the F-450 truck is about three months away.
