Numerous modifications will be made to the forthcoming 2023 Ford Super Duty. To begin, this outstanding truck series will have larger touchscreen choices and new aesthetic packages. Three models of the Super Duty are available: the F-250, the F-350, and the F-450. Each version is available in three cab configurations and with single or dual rear-wheel drive.
As previously announced, the Super Duty will be redesigned in 2020, thus the 2021MY will remain relatively unchanged. However, certain upgrades will occur. The Blue Oval manufacturer will give various aesthetic improvements, updated infotainment, and other high-tech features. On the other hand, nothing will change in terms of powertrain options. Nonetheless, Duty will remain the world’s most powerful truck lineup.
2023 Super Duty Redesign
The most anticipated heavy-duty truck, by far, is the forthcoming 2023 Ford Super Duty. According to speculation, the next model will undergo a significant makeover. The Blue Oval made this decision in general because its major competition, the Ram HD, is constantly improving. The redesigned grille, bigger bumpers, and new taillights will all be included in the new model.
Additionally, the LED headlamps will undergo a full redesign and a reduction in size. Additionally, we expect the new truck to sit on the same chassis as its predecessor. This means that the dimensions will remain the same. Additionally, new exterior paints will be available to compliment the already-popular Lithium Gray and Carbonized Gray color options.
Interior Refreshments
Along with an improved dashboard, the new 2023 Ford Super Duty will have a more sophisticated interior layout. Customers have a choice of two bed sizes, but the regular cab is only available with a long box. The XL model includes a non-touch infotainment as standard, but the Super Duty may improve on this. An 8.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Wi-Fi and Amazon Alexa are all available in the XLT trim level.
The remaining versions come standard with a 12.0-inch display, Sync4 infotainment system, and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto phone connectivity. Additionally, the Blue Oval will incorporate a range of driver-assistance technologies, including blind-spot monitors, automatic emergency braking and a new camera system.
What About Performances?
The powertrain options for the 2023 Ford Super Duty will stay the same. Diesel and gasoline engines will be available in their existing forms. To begin, the basic model features a 7.3-liter V8 gasoline engine producing 430 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque. According to Ford, this is the segment’s most powerful gasoline engine at the moment.
On top of that, for improved performance, the manufacturer provides a turbodiesel engine. This truck is using a reliable 6.7-liter PowerStroke diesel engine, developing up to 475 horsepower and 1050 lb-ft of torque. Additionally, when properly outfitted, the Super Duty trucks are capable of towing around 37,000 pounds. Some reports predict even more torque for the diesel engine, but this is not official yet.
2023 Ford Super Duty Release Date, Price
As for the price, the base 2023 Ford Super Duty will start at around $35,500. On top of that, Ford could introduce new optional packages and much more. The manufacturer will reveal more details in the coming months. The sales will begin later in 2022, and the Super Duty will rival the heavy-duty lineups from Ram and Chevrolet.
