Last week, the new 2023 Ford Super Duty SuperCrew model has been spied for the first time. Before that, we saw photos of the regular cab dually version. However, the SuperCrew prototype, most likely is the F-350 model, wearing the latest upgrades. Heavy camouflage perfectly hides some of the most recent updates.
Still, we managed to spot a couple of interesting novelties. Unlike some other cabs, the SuperCrew version is focused on hauling passengers and for that reason, it provides additional legroom. Without further ado, here’s everything you need to know.
Ford Super Duty SuperCrew Spy Shots
The forthcoming 2023 Ford Super Duty SuperCrew is getting a redesign. Of course, Ford will upgrade every cab and trim level in the same fashion. As we said, the first spy photos are already here. As with the previously spotted prototype, this one is camouflaged heavily to disguise the truck’s stylistic modifications. The pickup’s general form is remarkably similar to the current-generation model, featuring the famous Ford F-Series style line running along the top of the front doors.
Notably, this prototype lacks the huge fender flares shown on the standard cab model just last week. Otherwise, everything is identical, down to the black wheels, albeit this latest prototype also features a sliding rear window. The truck’s front and rear ends are fully concealed, most likely concealing some aesthetic changes.
What is SuperCrew Cab?
We’ve heard a lot of questions regarding Ford’s cab configurations. It isn’t confusing as it seems. The 2023 Ford Super Duty SuperCrew is coming to the markets. So, if you wonder what is it, we’ll give you an answer right away. For a start, there is a regular cab option. A regular cab is perfect for hauling materials and it provides greater cargo space. This version comes with two doors. Moreover, the SuperCab variant is perhaps the most popular buying option among the customers.
This model provides two rows of seats and accommodates up to six occupants. Ford offers rear-hinged doors, so if you want to have access to rear doors, you’ll have to open the front doors first. As for the SuperCrew cab configuration, it also provides room for six passengers. So, what’s so special about this model? Well, it provides additional legroom for the passengers, for ultimate comfort.
Rest of the Upgrades
For a start, the 2022MY is also getting numerous updates. That includes new interior design, exterior color paints, new high-tech amenities, and new appearance packages. Now, the 2023 Ford Super Duty SuperCrew will introduce more improvements. We expect even more tech, improved styling, and a 7.3-liter V8 Godzilla engine under the hood.
The XLT trim level won’t offer the Tremor package anymore. Of course, this off-road treatment will be available in some other trim levels. Reportedly, Blue Oval will also introduce some sort of hands-free driving system called the Blue Cruise. However, this feature will be offered in the range-topping trim level only.
2023 Ford Super Duty SuperCrew Release Date and Price
The base price of the new Super Duty model starts at $35,000. The 2023 Ford Super Duty SuperCrew is available across the trim level lineup, and it is slightly more expensive than the regular cab. The sales will most likely begin later next summer.
