After the Lincoln Aviator and Lincoln Corsair, Navigator SUV will also get a hybrid powertrain. The 2023 Lincoln Navigator Hybrid is reportedly on the way. The huge SUV is expected to receive a makeover, although a redesign is also feasible.
Lincoln has yet to disclose anything regarding the 2023 Navigator, and we haven’t seen any spy photos of the company testing the future model. As a result, information about the 2023 Navigator is limited. Anyway, a redesigned Navigator could debut with a slightly revised exterior appearance, a refreshed interior, and a new hybrid engine option.
Lincoln Navigator Facelift
The huge SUV could get a nice makeover with a new grille, headlights, wheels, and even taillights. The overall look and dimensions of the 2023 Lincoln Navigator Hybrid should remain unchanged with a little makeover. If Lincoln decides to remodel the 2023 Navigator, the massive SUV will get a new style, however, it’s unclear what alterations Lincoln would make to this model.
Lincoln will continue to offer adaptive LED headlights as standard, along with majestic wheels and a unique lower grille. The LED taillights are also available as standard. We hope to see new exterior colors as well.
Interior Gets ActiveGlide System
The interior of the new Navigator is comfortable, with a premium design and fine materials. The huge SUV has clean lines, a simple center console layout, and large screens. Because of the SUV’s boxy form, the Navigator has a lot of inside room. The 2023 Lincoln Navigator Hybrid will also get a high level of luxury. However, we believe the interior will remain substantially unchanged, though the company may incorporate some new themes.
The 2023MY will, on the other hand, get one important interior update. We are talking about the ActiveGline hands-free driving system. It is a system similar to Ford’s Blue Cruise or GM’s Super Cruise. Moreover, this system provides level 2 of autonomous driving. And while we don’t expect a complete interior makeover, some important upgrades are about to happen.
Navigator Hybrid Rumors
The upcoming 2023 Lincoln Navigator Hybrid is happening. This large SUV definitely deserves a hybrid powertrain, and Lincoln will provide one, most likely a plug-in hybrid version. At the moment, the only powertrain choice is a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 440 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque. Moreover, Navigator SUV comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission and a standard RWD system.
It can tow up to 8,700 pounds when equipped with the trailer package. Now, the hybrid model will most likely combine the same gasoline V6 with an electric motor. And while we don’t expect significantly more power, fuel economy ratings will improve dramatically. Lincoln is yet to announce this model, but the most reliable reports are saying the Navigator PHEV model is on the way.
2023 Lincoln Navigator Hybrid Price, Release Date
The sales of the new 2023 Lincoln Navigator Hybrid SUV will begin in the last quarter of 2022. Right now, the base model starts at $78,000. On top of that, the range-topping Black Label trim level will cost over $105,000. As for the Navigator Hybrid model, it will start at $85,000 or slightly above that.
