The 2024 Ford Maverick Tremor is a trim level of the small Maverick pickup truck that was introduced in 2021. The Maverick Tremor is a performance-oriented variant that is equipped with a number of off-road focused features, including a lifted suspension, all-terrain tires, and functional skid plates. It also comes with a number of cosmetic upgrades, such as unique exterior and interior trim.
The Maverick Tremor is powered by a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine and is available with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. It is designed to offer drivers a combination of sporty performance and rugged capability. More importantly, it is a very affordable model, which is quite rare.
Exterior Upgrades
Unlike the base Maverick pickup, the 2024 Ford Maverick Tremor is more aggressive. Moreover, this off-road package provides additional ground clearance, upgraded mechanics, and various off-road gear. A 0.8-inch suspension lift is doing an amazing job and this version offers a standard AWD system.

With a boost in terms of approach and departure angles, Maverick Tremor is more than a solid off-roader. Lastly, you can buy an optional appearance package for $1,500 and you will get a blacked-out exterior design with a gray-painted roof.
Sporty Interior
On the inside, the 2024 Ford Maverick Tremor still looks like a budget-friendly pickup. However, Blue Oval delivers unique touches and a sportier vibe. The interior is full of plastic surfaces, but it looks distinctive and colorful. Various orange accents are perhaps the highlight of the cabin design. Still, if you want something more premium, you’ll have to opt for one of the higher trim levels.
For this money, you can get a very upright crossover SUV. On the other hand, it is a pickup truck, so the focus is moved somewhere else. The 2024MY should gain small updates, which include new safety features and additional standard equipment.
Ford Maverick Tremor Specs
Under the hood, the forthcoming 2024 Ford Maverick Tremor will deploy a well-known 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine. This gasoline unit is capable of producing 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. Moreover, an eight-speed automatic transmission comes as standard.
Unfortunately, a manual gearbox won’t be on offer. While some things are not official yet, Maverick Tremor should sprint from 0 to 60 mph in around 5.8 seconds. Blue Oval provides numerous driving modes, including Sand, Rock Crawl, and Mud & Ruts.
2024 Ford Maverick Tremor Price and Release Date
The price of the new 2024 Ford Maverick Tremor will start at $32,000. You can have the Tremor package on the XLT and Lariat trim levels. The Lariat Tremor will cost around $35,000. If you want a Hyundai Santa Cruz pickup with a turbo-four engine and standard AWD system, you’ll have to pay closer to $40k.
Therefore, Maverick Tremor is a very affordable way to get an impressive off-roader. On the other hand, you can’t compare this small pickup with larger Ford Ranger and Jeep Gladiator models, especially in terms of off-roading. The sales will start next fall.
